Snowball Fight

We had the best snowball fight this last weekend.

See, we had about 3-4 inches of snow. (And got a snow day out of it!)

As the day wore on, we decided to go for a short drive and explore the winter wonderland Lubbock had become.

I had to brush and scrape all the snow off my car before we left and, H and K, you both insisted on helping.

As I began brushing off the windshield, the first snowball was thrown.

It escalated from there.

Mom even got in on it as the fight went on and on.

We got snow in our hair and under our clothes. I ended up with some in my mouth and nose.

Mom even managed to fall down once.

All that to say: That was the most fun I have ever had in a snow fight.

It was a great Sunday.

I love you.

Learned To Clap

T, the past few weeks you have learned to clap!

You do it when one of us starts first, when you hear music, or when you get excited about something.

If I had to guess, you first got enamored by clapping when H and I put on a little clapping show for you after dinner one night.

H was clapping and singing while I was clapping at twice her tempo and tapping along with my foot.

You looked like we had given you a surprise.

Seems like we are always singing and dancing about something…

We may not be super talented, but we’re a musical bunch, if you want to know the truth.

Anyway, I love the way that your face lights up with the joy of the moment.

I love you.

Monopoly Comeback

K, I just want to say you had the most epic Monopoly comeback the other day when you and mom and I were playing board games.

Legit you were one roll from being out. You were completely out of money. It’s your turn. And if you roll anything but a six – you are out.

You rolled a six.

And then mom landed on one of your properties.

Then you passed Go and got paid. And then I landed on a property of yours and had to pay you too. And on it went.

Mom finally went out sometime later and you came in second place, but it was amazing to watch!

We were all hooping and hollering on every roll.

They way you smile with all of your baby teeth is magical.

H was on a playdate and I am glad we got to spend the afternoon with you.

I love you.
