Selling Children

K, I love the way your mind works sometimes.

A few weeks ago we were talking something about parenting.

You added as part of the conversation that:

…Yeah, like some bad parent that does not want their kids and sells them.

I interrupted you explaining that – no – you can not sell your children.

You were wide-eyed and dumbfounded as you gathered your thoughts for a second.

Eventually, you replied:

So you can give your kids away to an orphanage for free…but you can’t sell them for money. Hmmm… That is very interesting and unexpected.

And now I’m racking my brain about it all too. 🤣

I love you.

Laughing Cackle

K, you have the absolute best laughing cackle in the world.

You only do it when you get to laughing too hard and can’t stop.

(Or you are being silly.)

But this high-pitched shrill of a laugh comes from somewhere deep down.

Mom says you sound like Bellatrix Lestrange from Harry Potter.

When it’s natural, it’s the sweetest thing.

I love you.
