On Modest Swimsuits

Ok, so after the tattoo talk, we had to have a discussion about modest swimsuits.

Below are the pictures I showed you.

Because, H, you were asking about wearing a two-piece swimsuit.

At 8 years old 🙄.

Honestly, it has nothing to do with how many pieces are involved…

It’s all about what kind of person you want to look like. What kind of person do you want to be? And how much do you want to leave up to the imagination?

It’s about modesty and propriety.

I asked the same questions:

  • Which girl looks fancier?
  • Which girl looks more like a princess?

I don’t even have to tell you how you and K both answered, do I?

You know.

Anastasia

Tonight we got to see the Broadway show, Anastasia, at Buddy Holly Hall.

I felt like it drug on a little bit towards the end but it was a great show overall.

Maybe I was just tired.

I sat with K the first half and at intermission switched and sat with H the second half.

K, you got scared during a few of the first scenes and fell asleep on Mom about three-quarters of the way through.

H, you seemed to love it.

You were on edge, with the tension of the story, and you just laughed and laughed at the comic relief bits.

Everyone loved buying lemonade and candy during intermission too.

It seemed like we were one of the last cars out of the parking lot and, K – you talked about princesses the entire ride home.

We got home around 10:30 PM.

Pop and Gramms were up and whispering while T slept.

Whew, too many late summer nights for me…

I’m tired now.

I love you.
