Race Car Driver

K, you might be the best five-year-old race car driver I have ever seen.

Hear me out.

We all went to Ruidoso a few weeks ago.

By that, I mean Pop and Gammies, the Daves, and us.

We all rode the race cars at the track there. I forget what the place is called and I’m too tired to look it up.

Anyway, you and I rode together first on the big track.

We had an advantage of being at the front of the line to start, but we kept it the entire race and won! We even lapped some little boy.

But that wasn’t the best part.

The best part was watching you race on the smaller track after that.

Three other girls were in your group. Letting each girl start one at a time, you started in last place.

And you won!

After the race was over we all praised you.

You just smiled and said “Yeah, whenever someone slowed down, I just went around them.” 😳

On Modest Swimsuits

Ok, so after the tattoo talk, we had to have a discussion about modest swimsuits.

Below are the pictures I showed you.

Because, H, you were asking about wearing a two-piece swimsuit.

At 8 years old 🙄.

Honestly, it has nothing to do with how many pieces are involved…

It’s all about what kind of person you want to look like. What kind of person do you want to be? And how much do you want to leave up to the imagination?

It’s about modesty and propriety.

I asked the same questions:

  • Which girl looks fancier?
  • Which girl looks more like a princess?

I don’t even have to tell you how you and K both answered, do I?

You know.
