This Disney Favorites post was originally supposed to be multiple posts.
My intent was to document a separate post outlining your favorite things from each day on our recent Disney World trip.
We just got back.
The problem is that we did a little too much.
I found it all overwhelming, so I know you did too.
After the first day, I asked what your favorite thing of the day was.
H, you said meeting Princess Jasmine.
K, you said meeting Princess Anna and Princess Elsa.
After day 2, I asked the same question again.
H, you just shrugged. And I couldn’t get an answer from K.
You girls simply loved the trip though.
I’m so glad we got to spend so much time together.
Yall are beautiful.
I love you.

We had a tough apple butter festival this last weekend.
It was fun, but it began to spiral out of control a little towards the end.
We got there early and did all of the standard activities – I think we have been the last three or four years in a row.
We rode the tractor, watched you girls jump in the bounce house, did a little project at the art station, took a few good pictures, and of course, hand-picked some apples out of the orchard.
And then, H, we started running into some of your friends from school.
You had a hard time listening to us with your friends around.
For lunch, we ate a plate of barbeque and listened to the live music.
But by then we had been there for two hours and had had enough.
I took K to the car and mom took you, H, on one more ride.
K was asleep in two minutes and one ride turned into three I am not sure how.
But the time mom had waited in line at the checkout counter inside and everyone made it to the car, K had been asleep for almost 45 minutes.
We were all grumpy, tired, and windblown.
But I wouldn’t trade the time with you for anything.
And they did take a picture of us.
I love you.
