Tired

When I Am Tired, I Just Love This Verse

Maybe I am just tired this week.

But I read this verse for the thousandth time yesterday and it gave me peace – again.

Seems weird.

But I have found there are few things more restful and peaceful than reading scriptures in the quiet of the early morning with a hot cup of coffee.

So, get that physical rest from a good eight hours in bed.

But remember that your soul and attitude can find rest in Jesus.

Matthew 11:28-30:
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

I love you.

Bible Study

Mom Has A Bible Study, So I Hold You

Mom started a new bible study.

It’s at church on Sunday nights and it starts at 7:00.

And K, you go to bed these days around 7:30.

So that means we all eat dinner together, everyone gets a bath or shower, and we all get in pajamas before mom leaves.

Afterward, I try to turn something on TV for H – and then I try to put you to bed.

The bible study met for the first time this last Sunday.

I went to put you down, and well, you lost it.

Screaming, crying, yelling “da-da-da.”

I would leave you for ten minutes, and then hold you for ten minutes before I put you down again.

You got to the point you were over-tired.

H even fell asleep – on her own – before you went to sleep.

I finally picked you up and stretched out flat in the recliner.

You fell asleep on my chest, and slept there until mom picked you up off of me when she came home.

It was wonderful.

I can’t wait to do it again next Sunday night.

I love you.

Tongue

You Have The Most Active Tongue I Have Seen

K, your tongue is crazy.

Not like weird or anything though – don’t get me wrong.

It’s just everywhere.

You love sticking it out.

Flipping it up and down, then you whip it around side to side.

You make a clicking sound with it.

Then when you are serious about something you stick it out a little to help everything along.

Also, you have been doing this thing were you barely stick it out and move it from side to side in your mouth as you hum.

I’m just saying,  you like to rock out with your tongue out.

My little girl.

You stop growing so fast.

My little business

It’s precious.

I love you.
