Mom’s Birthday And Mother’s Day

Today was both mom’s birthday and mother’s day.

Crazy they fell on the same day…

H and K, you both made homemade cards for mom. H , yours was made with direction from school. K, you insisted on making an original.

See, we didn’t get her a store-bought present because when I asked her what she wanted, mom simply said she wanted to spend the day with all three of you.

We took her on a surprise trip to HTeaO to get her favorite tea (sweet raspberry) – and baked her a cake late in the evening.

I am so glad we had a nice day together celebrating mama.

I love you.

Seemed To Mind

We drove to Seminole today to eat lunch with Pop and Gammies and your cousins.

None of us stayed too long, but it was nice to see everyone and get out of town for a bit.

We ate lunch outside because the house was such a mess, but nobody seemed to mind it, it was so nice outside.

Honestly the day was a revolving door of: “Who gets to hold T next?”

We have all been on top of each other for so long, I forget everyone else has only seen T a few times.

We ate lasagna, visited as much as possible, and left to come home just after four.

H and K, we watched Finding Dory (after biscuits and bacon for dinner) and tucked you both in on the air mattress in the living room.

T, you are asleep in your bassinet on mom’s side of the bed.

Goodnight loves.

I love you.
