Mom made egg free chocolate donuts special for K this last week.

See, all donuts have eggs in them.

This means that K’s choices at the donut store are limited to choosing either a croissant or a bagel.

Being kind and thoughtful, mom wanted K to have a donut that she could eat and not feel left out.

Mom loves you girls so much.

And she works super hard to be both a good mom at home and keep a great day job.

But – God bless her – those homemade, egg free, donuts were awful!

None of us liked them. But you don’t know till you try, do you?

That’s fine by me though.

A flaky croissant with butter and black coffee will do just fine.
