Free Summer

H and K, I wanted to note that this has been y’all first truly free summer.

Sure you have had VBS, cheer camp, church camp, or what have you, here and there…

But there is no mandatory place to be by 8 AM every morning so Mom and Dad can get to work on time.

T, you have been going to TAS still, but you have even stayed home quite a bit.

The morning starts with a little bit better pace.

Y’all get to be lazy.

It’s been nice.

I hope our summers get even lazier and lazier as these years go by.

I love you.

Pool Kids

We got back from Fredericksburg late yesterday.

This was technically the trip to Ruidoso that we usually go on in the summer with Pop, Gammies, and the cousins – but this year it got moved to the Hill Country.

We rented an Airbnb with a pool and hot tub on W Hackberry St.

Other than food, sleep, and the little shopping we did, I am not sure your three girls left the pool much at all.

I think one day you were in for seven hours non-stop. 😳

Biggest bunch of pool kids I ever saw.

I love you.
