Come Anyway

Well, rona exposed or not, we went to Midland this weekend anyway.

It turned into one of those back and forth things.

We planned on going for weeks, and then got “exposed.”

Of course, we called and cancelled because we didn’t want to get anyone sick.

But a few days later Aunt Jenny called and told us to come anyway. So off we went.

We left by 8:30 and got there by 10:30 to watch Chloe and Hannah cheer for their football teams.

Chloe cheered first, and then Hannah – each game lasting about an hour and a half.

It was a cool day but the sun was hot and you girls all somehow ended up with mild sunburns. (Not T. Her stroller had enough shade.)

Pop and Gammies showed up too.

We all went to eat at Rosa’s afterward and then hung out at the Daves’ house for a few more hours visiting.

All this stay-at-home coronavirus stuff going on, it was, honestly, just nice to be out of town for the day.

I love you.

Cutest Growler

T, T-dog

I have no idea what has happened, but over the last few you weeks you have become the cutest growler in the world.

Honestly, I think you picked it up from another one of the babies at school.

You do it almost as another form of talking.

So instead of babbling when be make eye contact, or you want to get my attention, I’ll just get a little:

Grrrrrruuuurrrrr

And, of course – being a dad – I always growl back at you too.

You are just perfect.

I love you.

Rona Exposed

Well, I guess we finally got exposed to the rona.

H and K, one of your teachers at school tested positive for it.

Y’all are supposed to continue at school as usual until you start showing symptoms and have a positive test.

But, since we are all now “high-risk” HR won’t let mom or I go back to work before a two week quarantine.

I’m working from home anyway while they are replacing the air-conditioner at my office.

But mom is now home too, starting today.

Let’s all stay healthy and manage to avoid this thing if we can!

Mom has us all taking mountains of vitamins trying to ward it off.

I love you.
