Rows And Rows

So the only thing different than yesterday was that today we left the pool around 1 PM.

We left and did a drive-thru safari at Natural Bridge Caverns, picked up Bill Miller BBQ on the way back to the hotel, and called it a day.

Before bed we all went on a long walk around the property.

We stopped for smores and then explored the far hallways of the building.

Their were rows and rows of conference rooms and you girls ran and squealed the entire way.

The cousins get here tomorrow and that will be fun, but I sure enjoyed the time that it was just us.

I love you.

Swam Me

Coronavirus, mask wearing, lockdowns, or whatever – we just had to get out of town before school starts.

So today was our first full day at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa.

H and K, you plain and simple swam me into the ground.

We grabbed breakfast, made it to the pool at 10 AM, ate lunch pool side, and finally came back to our room around 5 PM.

(Mom went back and forth from the pool to the room with T – as T needed to eat.)

After showers, we went outside for smores by the camp fire and then picked up In-N-Out Burger for dinner.

And now – I am so tired.

Let’s do it again tomorrow?

I love you.

Spitfire Of Joy

K, you were an absolute spitfire of joy today.

I cannot point to it exactly, but it was there.

It was there somewhere between you demanding to wear a leotard while watching cartoons before school, hugging my neck as I dropped you off, refusing to get your hair wet in the shower tonight, and the way you giggled with me during storytime (again in your leotard).

I love you in every way.

I love you.
