Baby Forehead Wrinkles

I forgot about baby forehead wrinkles.

Or that babies even have forehead wrinkles…

A few days ago, I caught a glimpse of yours, T.

(H and K, you had them too.)

Let me tell you, they are adorable: They make for accentuating the absolute best scowls and frowns.

Google says that it is a result of growing still left to do…

I say God was just having fun when he made my newborn daughters – if even for a short moment – look like my grandfather when they frowned.

T, grown up slowly, please?

And keep the forehead wrinkles around for as long as you like.

I love you.

Coronavirus Walks

Taking long coronavirus walks has been the the most grounding thing we have done the last few weeks.

And I have enjoyed it immensely.

Usually we do a two mile walk. We have a shorter version too that’s half that.

The important part is getting out of the house. Tonight, for example, we were pressed for time and just walked around the block.

Being stuck in the house all day makes the getting outside, and moving about in the fresh air, cathartic.

For a nice and easy stroll can be a perfect antidote to cabin fever…

I hope we take more and more walks together as a family as the years go by.

And I hope you remember them forever.

I love you.

Coronavirus Schedule

I have been so bad about posting during the last few weeks because our coronavirus schedule is nearly the same everyday.

It’s disorienting, if you want to know the truth.

Here it is (approximately):

9 – 9:30 – Wake up

9:30 – 10 – Everyone is grumpy and dad drinks coffee

10 – 11:00 – We talk about what we have to do today

11:30 – 12:00 – Eat lunch while watching TV ( Or is it breakfast?)

12:00 -1:00 – Parents return work email / kids play

1:00 – 3:00 – Homeschooling (Sometimes we take a break and go for a drive.)

3:00 – 4:00 – Facetime friends and family

4:00 – 5:00 – Art/Music time

5:00 – 6:00 – Parents return work email / kids play

6:00 – 7:00 – Dinner

7:00 – 8:00 – Family walk

8:00 – 10:00 – TV/Bath/Reading

10:00 – Kids go to bed

10:00 – 11:00 – Netflix

11:00 – 1:00 – Blogging/Reading/Showers

1:00 – Mom goes to bed

1:00 – 2:00 – I piddle/Blog/Read

2:00 – I go to bed

And then we do the same thing the next day: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday…

What an insane time this is.

I love you.
