Froggy

T, omgoodness you were being adorable this morning.

You had a fever over the weekend and have hung out at Pop and Gammies the last two days skipping school.

They invited you over to skip school again this morning. 🙄

Anyway, I took you to their house while H and K went with mom to chapel.

On the way, we stopped for donuts.

It was foggy and damp as we drove and you kept wanting to tell me about it.

But you don’t have a grasp yet on the word “foggy.”

You kept telling me that it was “froggy” out.

Two years old is just the best age.

Don’t ever change.

I love you.

Other Read

H, I enjoyed helping you with your homework tonight.

You are doing this book report and I sat with you tonight on the bedroom floor encouraging you – and showing you how to – take notes as you read.

You fought me a little on it.

But I enjoyed the moment.

Both of us in our pajamas listening to each other read.

I love you.
