Myself Again

Whew, I was getting back into a routine, but I missed a few days blogging there.

This weekend was nuts.

Or – rather – I was a wreck.

My stomach felt sick Thursday night and by the time I got to work on Friday I was running at about 50%.

I left work at 10:30 saying I would hopefully be back after lunch – but I got in bed at 11:00 AM and mom woke me up at 4:30 PM with a 101 fever!

I sipped some Gatorade and woke up again around 8 PM, stayed awake for an hour or two, and then slept all night long like a dead log.

Saturday I felt better but was weak. But I was finally back to normal on Sunday.

Sunday was a big day with church – we worked extended session too.

K, I took you to Sydney’s birthday party at Blazing Bouncers. H, you went to Hannah’s house to swim. And, T, you napped with mom.

What a weekend.

It feels good to be back to myself again.

I love you.

As Karaoke Night

Long day.

Pop and Gramms were in town and stopped by after dinner.

Pop was at the hospital being checked for a blood clot in his leg (he didn’t have one and was fine.)

Anyway. Mom let y’all have a “girls night” tonight.

We did our usual prayers.

And then had another Trolls prayer tonight.

The funny part was that it started in prayer and ended up as karaoke night.

I pulled up the song on my phone and we all laid in bed together belting out the lyrics.

You think you’ve gotta hide it
Don’t keep it on the shelf
Let your waist start moving
Watch the way I do it, do it
See me do it like nobody else!

Ha, we were all really getting into it…

I love you.

Different Fox

Forgot to post this picture from forever ago.

It had snowed and was still cold out.

We were walking back and forth in the kitchen eating – or doing whatever it is that you do on a day that ends in Y.

I think the last of the snow was melting outside.

H, you stopped us and pointed it out.

And we could hardly believe it…

There was a fox asleep on the roof of the house behind us!

I wonder if this was our fox – or a different fox?

So cool.

I love you.
