Ok, there is no way around this.
A few weeks ago we found a rat in the back yard.
Mom saw something one day. I suggested it was probably a mouse, or maybe a baby squirrel.
There was confusion and doubt. (On my part. Mom was certain it was a rat).
There were whispers in the hallway that felt like they came from some spy movie shot in black and white.
Finally. I saw him too.
We called a bug company that sat out poison, but that seemed to not do anything.
Then mom sat out traps.
Well, today we got him.
H, you and I threw the rat and the trap away after K and mom left for dance. You were so glad to be along for the adventure.
I though K could stand a picture or two, but I didn’t want her having nightmares over it.
Ugh.
Glad that’s over. Bleh.
I love you.
