When it comes to the topic of marriage, don’t treat married as right, and single as wrong.
Let me blow your mind:
The purpose of life is not found at the marriage alter.
Your purpose is to pursue Jesus with everything you have – no matter your marital status.
Don’t be jealous of those with a spouse.
And definitely don’t look down on those that are single.
The bible even calls single people less distracted from God.
We can so easily be distracted by the things of this world.
I am so glad I got a little distracted by you.
1 Corinthians 7:30-35:
But he who is married cares about the things of the world—how he may please his wife. There is a difference between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman cares about the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit. But she who is married cares about the things of the world—how she may please her husband. And this I say for your own profit, not that I may put a leash on you, but for what is proper, and that you may serve the Lord without distraction.
I love you.
