Strive to not be filled with an unattractive pride.

Instead, work to be humble about everything.

Being humble is so hard – our constant reaching for significance and all.

But when nothing you have belongs to you as you take every breath in God’s grace, pride in yourself should naturally fall away.

To make it worse, pride can be such an unattractive vice.

James 4:6:
God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.
